Scheduled Tasks
Scheduled Tasks are of several types.
There are those that occur on a regular predictable 'daily basis', i.e. on any or every selected day of the week. One might check the battery water level on the golf cart every Friday, for example. Other tasks might be scheduled for 2 or more days a week.
Some tasks may occur every day of the week, but not all year round, e.g. testing the water quality of a swimming pool that is not used year round. In these circumstance the task can be retained in the Scheduled Tasks records and selected as required by selecting the relevant days in the Scheduled Tasks records.
Then there are those those date-related tasks that occur either regularly or intermittently. For example a task may be scheduled for the first Monday on the month. Vehicle registration may occur at even longer intervals.
These tasks can be scheduled by selecting the required dates from a pop-up calendar. Up to 12 dates can be selected. When the task is completed the task date may either remain there redundant, or the date space be re-used for another task.
Another category is those tasks that occur regularly but unpredictably, e.g. an incoming guest may require special facilities such as a baby's cot or high-chair. These tasks can be entered into the Cleaning Tasks file but with the date left blank, then when such a booking is made the relevant task can be called up and the appropriate date entered.
